AQL is not automatically applied to every order. Where sampling inspection is required, the applicable standard, inspection level and acceptance criteria should be stated in the purchase or inspection documentation.
Certifications, test reports and declarations are product- and supplier-specific. Availability and scope should be verified against the documents applicable to the particular product and destination.
Supporting documentation may be available for selected materials and applications. Suitability depends on composition, manufacturing process, intended food type and conditions of use.
Applicable requirements depend on the product category, intended use and destination market. Relevant documentation should be reviewed before shipment.
Where appropriate, testing or inspection can be coordinated through qualified third-party service providers.
